The Role
As a Lead Embedded Linux Engineer youll play a critical role in developing the next generation of smart kitchen appliances at Klynk. Youll be responsible for designing developing and maintaining the Linuxbased functionalities of our flagship product Riku the worlds first Automatic Rice and Curry Maker. This position is an 80% individual contributor and 20% managerial role.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust embedded Linux systems for Riku.
- Work closely with firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of Linux with FreeRTOS and other hardware components.
- Develop and implement device drivers for various peripherals used in Riku.
- Experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) is a plus as we explore future possibilities for Rikus functionalities.
- Utilize your expertise in Linux kernel development system programming and user space applications.
- Write efficient and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews to ensure highquality software development.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of Linux functionalities within Riku.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in embedded Linux technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in Embedded Linux development with a strong background in AOSP Linux and FreeRTOS.
- Proficient in programming languages particularly C and Python.
- Indepth knowledge of Linux kernel architecture device drivers and user space programming.
- Experience with embedded development tools and frameworks (e.g. Yocto Project Buildroot).
- Proven track record in the consumer electronics sector with knowledge of compliance standards and successful product launches.
- A problemsolver with excellent collaboration skills capable of leading projects from concept to market launch.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
