Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. This role is vital for designing deploying and managing our Azure cloud infrastructure ensuring it is robust secure and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and manage scalable secure and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates Terraform or Bicep.
• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize the performance security and availability of Azure resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cloudbased databases storage solutions and networking configurations.
• Provide guidance and support for cloud architecture deployment strategies and best practices.
• Stay current with the latest Azure services features and best practices and implement them as needed.
• Participate in oncall rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical cloud infrastructure.
• Document processes procedures and system configurations thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Proven 2 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Azure services including Azure Virtual Machines Azure Storage Azure SQL Database Azure Functions Azure VNet Azure Monitor and Azure AD.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or Bash.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates Terraform or Bicep.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Azure DevOps Engineer or similar certification.
• Experience with multicloud environments (e.g. AWS Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
