This scope of work provides a clear and detailed framework for the role of a Microsoft Endpoint Manager Consultant within a managed services environment defining what is expected in terms of deployment management and optimization of SCCM and Intune. Please note that the outlined responsibilities and deliverables are representative but not exhaustive; additional tasks may be required as dictated by organizational needs and emerging technological challenges
System Deployment: Configure and deploy Microsoft Endpoint Manager solutions including SCCM and Intune across the organization s network
Security Management: Apply best practices in endpoint security management to protect against unauthorized access malware and other vulnerabilities.
Patch Management: Regularly update and patch systems to secure endpoints against known exploits as part of ongoing maintenance routines.
Asset Management: Monitor and manage hardware and software assets to ensure that all endpoint devices are accounted for and compliant.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues related to SCCM and Intune.
Reporting: Generate regular reports detailing the status performance and security posture of endpoints.
Training and Documentation: Offer training and create documentation to assist IT staff in using SCCM and Intune effectively.
Requirements
Objective:
To lead and manage the deployment and optimization of Microsoft Endpoint Manager specifically SCCM and Intune enhancing endpoint security management across the organization. This role is crucial in building and maintaining a secure manageable and responsive IT infrastructure focused on leveraging SCCM and Intune capabilities to safeguard organizational assets and ensure seamless IT operations.
Key Actions:
Implement and Optimize Endpoint Solutions: Deploy and finetune SCCM and Intune settings to enhance endpoint security ensuring devices are protected against vulnerabilities.
System Integration and Management: Seamlessly integrate endpoint security solutions with existing IT infrastructure maintaining consistency and operational continuity.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Actively manage and resolve any technical issues within the Microsoft Endpoint Manager infrastructure ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on the use of SCCM and Intune demonstrating best practices in endpoint security management.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current endpoint management practices and introduce improvements keeping up with advancements in technology and security threats.
Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with IT teams to share knowledge and train staff on effective use of Microsoft Endpoint Manager tools.
Monitor and Report: Regularly assess the performance of endpoint security measures preparing reports for stakeholders and recommending strategic enhancements.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science An average of 8 years of experience in the following fields: o Nutanix systems o Microsoft server o Back-up systems o Barracuda systems o Sofs systems o McAfee Systems
