Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Management:
  • Supervise daily logistics operations including transportation warehousing and distribution of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers transporters and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of all necessary supplies.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste spoilage and stockouts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Transportation Coordination:
  • Plan and schedule transportation routes to ensure timely delivery to various restaurant locations.
  • Manage relationships with transportation providers and negotiate contracts and rates.
  • Resolve any transportation issues such as delays damages or delivery discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Management:
  • Oversee warehouse operations ensuring proper storage handling and distribution of goods.
  • Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layouts and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse.
  • Team Supervision:
  • Lead and supervise a team of logistics staff including warehouse workers drivers and coordinators.
  • Provide training guidance and support to ensure team members perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations and reduce costs.
  • Utilize logistics software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management preferably in the QSR or food service industry.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Fulltime

Pay: QAR3500.00 QAR4000.00 per month
