Electrician

We are seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Electricians with a minimum of 7 years of direct electrician experience or a Journeymans card. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in a manufacturing environment specifically working on manufacturing equipment not facilities maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical work on machines in a manufacturing environment.

Handle industrial and electrical maintenance including high voltage (medium voltage) 480V 120V and down to 24volt DC circuitry.

Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems with a preference for Allen Bradley experience.

Familiarity with Program Frequency Drives and the ability to navigate parameters.

Work on CNC machines with experience in Fanuc and Siemens controllers preferred.

Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills for proximity switches light screens safety circuits cables ethernet and communication issues motors drives relays etc.

Demonstrate ability to work with various circuit voltages: 24V DC 120V 277V and 480V.

Skills Required:

Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment working on manufacturing equipment.

Proven track record of working on CNC machines.

Strong industrial maintenance and electrical maintenance skills.

Handson experience with high voltage (medium voltage) 480V 120V and down to 24volt DC circuitry.

Familiarity with PLC systems particularly Allen Bradley.

Understanding of Program Frequency Drives.

Proven troubleshooting abilities across a range of electrical systems and components.

Skills Preferred:

Experience in the automotive industry.

Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines.

Additional Information:

This is a direct hire role.

New employees can expect to begin on 2nd or 3rd shift (2nd shift: 2PM 10PM; 3rd shift: 10PM 6AM).

The union contract allows for mandatory overtime with 2/3 Saturdays a month.

Overtime schedules are posted every Thursday and operate on a rotational basis.

Overtime Pay: Over 40 hours and Saturdays are 1.5x hourly pay; Sunday and holidays are paid 2x hourly pay.
