About the Role:

Were seeking a dynamic Technical Advisor or Patent Agent with a Ph.D. in the biological sciences to join esteemed patent prosecution team in Boston. In this role youll play a crucial part in patentrelated activities focusing on prosecution freedomtooperate analysis and due diligence. Youll collaborate with clients on cuttingedge biotechnology innovations to secure patent protection and develop robust IP portfolios.

Your Mission:

• Manage patent portfolios and coordinate prosecution globally with foreign associates.
• Draft responses to office actions and prosecute patent applications.
• Collaborate with scientists and inventors to draft patent applications.
• Conduct thorough assessments of scientific literature patents and patent applications in various biology fields.
• Perform patent landscape and freedomtooperate searches and contribute to analysis.
• Assist in IP diligence for potential investments and biotech IPOs.

What You Bring:

• Ph.D. degree in Immunology Molecular Biology Biochemistry or related fields.
• Preferably experience in patent prosecution.
• Ability to draft patent applications independently from invention disclosure forms or inventor interviews.
• Strong communication skills to convey scientific concepts to both scientists and nonscientists.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
