Role Endpoint Architect

Client is looking for Senior level Endpoint Architect to join the team at one of their top healthcare clients. This person will play a critical role in designing implementing and managing endpoint solutions to ensure the security efficiency and performance of our organizations network infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 7 years experience managing and architecting desktop/endpoint environment across a large enterprise organization
- Ideally has 5 years Endpoint Engineer experience and 2 years experience as an Architect.
- Strong Microsoft Windows system administration and troubleshooting skills including deep knowledge of the registry file system processes and security in Windows operating systems
- Experience with Modern Endpoint Management across a large enterprise environment
- Experience in these Endpoint/Desktop areas:
- SCCM/MECM; Windows 10; MacOS; Jamf; Intune/Azure; Virtualization (VMWare; Citrix); MDM experience (Airwatch; Workspace One; Intune; CoManagement Intune)
- Experience in creating roadmaps for desktop engineering and endpoint management to incorporate modern methodologies for system integration (e.g. GPO to Intune Autopilot imaging MDM via Jamf)
- Experience presenting technical roadmaps to Executive leadership
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing building testing and deploying software installation packages for the Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems using Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) technology Novell Zen technologies etc.
- Administer and manage the workstation operating system Patching/Security update program.
- Assist and coordinate the proper repackaging of both custom developed and vendor supplied applications for standard Windows desktop platforms using both MSI and Novel Application Launcher. This position is responsible for the full desktop operating system image life cycle including: initial image problem research and discovery contacting vendors and developers for information as required image development and construction image testing deployment thirdlevel production support and providing full image documentation and build notes.
- Prepare and deploy desktop images using the WellStar IT distribution systems
- Coordinate and validation application and workstation for interoperability standards and quality on supported platforms per defined company processes and software packaging and configuration management best practices.
- Analyze troubleshoot and correct production image engineering defects
- Build test and deploy 3rdParty patches across the enterprise.
- Assists in the creation and maintains standards as they relate to delivery of network services.
- Responsible for documenting changes to environment (i.e. hardware movement installation removal etc.).
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of standard hardware/local software by utilizing the current inventory/database/asset system.
- Validates and maintains technical documentation in conjunction with fellow Field Services Technicians.
- Develop architectural artifacts based on TOGAF DoDAF MODAF Zachman and FEAF framework.
