Job Title : AWS Cloud Migration Architect (DevOps IaC)

Job Type : C2C / W2 / 1099

Experience : 10 to 15 years

Location : Alpharetta Georgia

Responsibilities:

MustHave requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of IT Experience 6 Years of Experience as an Architect 5 Years of Public Cloud Experience
• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Platform
• Strong leadership skills working in customerenvironment
• Implementation deployment of AWS IaaS PaaS and Technologies
• 4 Years of Terraform knowledge
• Must have Terraform Enterprise to Terraform Cloud migration experience
• MustHave DevOps skills (Jenkins)

AWS Must have Technical Requirements

• Creation of Architecture design documents and implementation of the infrastructure in AWS using DevOps/Terraform
• Strong understanding/experience of AWS landing zone and required domains (IAM/Networking/Security/Tenant model/Control Tower )
• Experience with largescale migrations to the cloud and familiarity with tools like AWS Migrate/DRS
• Must have worked as part of large wavebased factory migration and as a technical lead of the team
• Solid understanding on AWS Virtual Machines Imaging Best Practices and ability to provide proactive Guidance on creating/deploying/managing AWS VMs either through images or ARM templates.
• AWS Storage best practices scripting and Storage Security good to have awareness of AWS Storage API including any Storage tools.
• A strong understanding of AWS Networking including Virtual Network Designing is a must
• Strong Understanding of Security Controls of the cloud (Network Security End Point Security IAM )
• Should possess Architectural knowledge to guide customers in achieving High Availability and Disaster Recovery for workloads running in AWS
• Understanding of load balancing georedundancy CDN and VPN technologies is preferred.
• Ability to automate AWS Operational related tasks leveraging PowerShell AWS Automation
• Design around DevOps / Continuous Integration model implement robust security measures and practice DevOps and agile principles
• Good understanding of MicroServices Architecture (Kubernetes/EKS)
• Should have a good understanding of Cloud (AWS Azure) cost/billing propositions.
• Should have a good understanding of Opensource technologies used for native cloud applications

Soft Skills Requirement

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Excellent written skills and familiarity with Architecture tools (Visio/PPT etc..)
• Travel to customer site required as needed (25%)
• AWS Solution Architect certification is required
• Togaf or any other Architect certification is a plus

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
