Job Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be able and willing to furnish your own tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of and industrial maintenance training program. (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 2 years).
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information processing daily work orders and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work in confined and tall spaces walk climb utilize a ladder operate a lift bend and stoop.
- Repetitive gripping pushing and pulling.
- Frequent overhead work.
- Temperatures inside the plant may vary from 25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
- Basic math skills including percentages fractions and measurements.
- Read and understand blueprints manuals and work orders.
