Senior Process Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join a fast growing start-up organisation in Bristol on a permanent basis.


The Company:

Our client is tackling the issues of plastic pollution and climate change, by replacing single-use, fossil fuel-based plastics with biomaterials made from seaweed.


Location:

This is an office based role located at our clients offices in Bristol.


Compensation:

The Role:

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will lead the design, planning, and running of scale-up trials. You will develop new production strategies, and work in close collaboration with the product development team to innovate process and engineering solutions.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take the lead on major process engineering projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate the economic feasibility of process improvements and investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with process engineering activities.

Your Background:

• Significant industrial experience in an engineering field or closely related subjects.
• Previous experience in scaling new products through from bench to full-scale manufacturing.
• Experience of manufacturing in a regulated environment.
