Operations Senior Advisor 12 months Brussels

As Operations Senior Advisor you will support the Head of Operations during the transformation of the Operations department to a more mature multivendor operating model (Service Integration and Management SIAM). You will advise on the establishment of this more mature model and act as a sparring partner for the Head of Operations. You offer a critical view of the teams strengths and weaknesses and help optimise processes and strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Core responsibilities:

1. Strategic Advisory:
o Support the Head of Operations in developing and implementing
of the SIAM maturity strategy.
o Advise on best practices and innovative approaches to improve the efficiency
and effectiveness of the Operations Department.

2. Strengthen the Multivendor Operating Model (SIAM):
o Advise on the design and implementation of initiatives to strengthen multivendor operating model.
o Sparring with the Head of Operations on various strategic issues.

3. Team Evaluation and Optimisation:
o Analyse the teams current strengths and weaknesses.
o Recommend and implement improvements to optimise team dynamics and
performance.
o Taking a critical look at current operational processes in order to increase
increase efficiency and productivity

4. Stakeholder Management:
o Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
o Facilitate collaboration between different departments and teams.

5. Risk Management:
o Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transformation.
o Advise on risk management strategies and plans.

6. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
o Evaluate the performance of the Operations Department and report findings to the Head of Operations.
o Recommend improvements based on data analysis and performance indicators.



Requirements

Experience in analysing and optimising team dynamics
Experience in leading transformation and change management projects
Minimum 10 years experience as COO or CIO
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Languages: NL FR EN
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Indepth knowledge of operational processes and best practices
Expertise in Service Integration and Management (SIAM) and multivendor management
Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in operations management
