1 month contract with A Local Authority

Job Summary:

Under the day to day supervision of a Street care Supervisor the post holder is responsible for carrying out cleaning at the councils Page Park facilities either individually or as part of a team following Street care s prepared schedules and to agreed quality standards.

To carry out all cleaning using materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner following procedures set out by Street care and general health and safety guidelines.

To be aware of Street care s agreed quality standards and work to fulfil them making the Street care Supervisor aware of any barriers to meeting these standards (for example where equipment is faulty or there are insufficient materials).

To report any cleaning equipment breakdowns or any possible hazards in the workplace to the Streetcare Supervisor.

Key Duties/Accountabilities:

Work safely with a range of basic equipment in order to complete tasks

To be aware of and to follow safe methods of working including relevant Health and Safety procedures.

Check tools and equipment are suitable for use reporting any defects or problems as appropriate.

Essential Experience Required:

Ideally you may have some experience of working in a similar role.

Previous experience of office cleaning.

Essential Qualifications Required:

You may hold a vocational qualification e.g. NVQ1 or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience.
