Position Overview:
The DevOps Architect will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable robust and secure DevOps infrastructure and practices. This role requires deep technical expertise a strong understanding of DevOps principles and the ability to lead and mentor a team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and managing CI/CD pipelines cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable reliable and secure DevOps infrastructure and processes.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and highquality software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration management and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development operations and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Implement and maintain monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of the infrastructure to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps including 3 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Proficiency with infrastructureascode tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK stack).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience:
- Certification in AWS Azure or GCP.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
