Power BI Developer

Note: Candidate is required to work onsite 3 days per week and 2 remote

MUST HAVE:

• Leveraging business intelligence and creating captivating reports and semantic models for partners using Power BI Workspaces
• Supports Clients wideranging business information requirements implementing and supporting business intelligence software solutions
• Develops and supports customized query applications which analyze key business data
• Proven troubleshooting and analytical experience
• Extensive experience with conceptual logical and physical data modelling tools using Power BI Semantic Models
• Supports Clients wideranging business information requirements implementing and supporting business intelligence software solutions. Develops and supports customized query applications which analyze key business data. Also develops and supports guided analysis and drilldown functionality routine scheduling and notification of report generation and effective implementation of opportunity and keytrend alerts
• Extensive experience with Power BI for data model and creating captivating reports.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Develops and supports guided analysis and drilldown functionality routine scheduling and notification of report generation and effective implementation of opportunity and keytrend alerts.
• Provides Clients with approach options and tools for managing businessrelated data in a manner that assists in quantitative analysis of progress and the relationship between operational actions and their effect on business objectives.
• Experience with analyzing data in source systems to identify data cleanliness issues (e.g. missing values duplicate meanings and invalid data)
• Experience with developing feedback processes to fix corrupt data in the source systems
• Experience with developing data extraction transformation and load programs (daily and initial load) functionality on a widerange of data repositories (relational and multi dimensional data stores)
• Experience with developing automation extraction cleansing and load scripts
• Experience generating research models and reports (scheduled and adhoc)
• Experience in process decomposition/mapping and business process reengineering and complex data models using UML.
• Experience in the use of development tools and business reengineering software
• Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. business logical and physical models) based on Enterprise Application Processes and Modeling methodology and guidelines

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Power BI Skills: 60%

• Experience with developing monitoring and error notification processes to ensure data is updated as designed
• Hands on experience working with stakeholders to develop and document interface specifications design between Business Intelligence solutions and external applications
