All about the role:
In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for Consumer Direct Interactions.
You will be based at our Headquarters in Charlotte NC and this role is hybrid.
As a talented Claims Specialist you will be responsible for resolving Financial claims chargebacks or disputes in favor of the client.
You will work closely with the business unit first prioritizing backlog of claims then daily or weekly queues.
Additionally you will be responsible for progress tracking process documentation and advising business unit on resolutions.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on process improvement and recommend longterm systems solutions.
This brand new role at the clientwill enable you to set the standards for future growth and development in Claims & Financial mitigation.
Success will be measured by mitigation of future Financial Claims against the client and ability to recover due payments reimbursement of costs.

What youll do:
Implement process for tracking and documenting Financial Claims for our Digital Website or Extended Warranty businesses
Support particular Business unit daily with Financial transactions establishing initial daily process and formulating resolutions
Create process documentation by working closely with Product Manager and Continuous Improvement manager
Ensure timely execution of daily and weekly tasks assigned
Create standardized progress tracking reports
Investigate root cause of Chargebacks Claims or Disputes and prescribe resolution recommendations
Occasionally engage with client consumers in order to resolve disputes pending charges
Occasionally engage with internal Operations resolving customer service related issues and tracking returns order statuses
Qualifications required:
3 years of Professional experience in Customer Service or Business Administration
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Ability to multitask and quickly switch between prioritizies
Experience working in multiple Operational and Financial systems
Preferred Qualifications:
BA or BS in Business Adminstration
Experience using SAP
Prior experience in Risk Management or Fraud prevention
Hands on experience with Customer Service and Resolutions
