Tasks
Responsibilities
- Gather analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify trends patterns and insights relevant to the eCommerce platform.
- Collaborate with the Product Lead and other stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for measuring product success.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Support the Product Lead in defining and prioritizing product features user stories and acceptance criteria based on datadriven insights.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure data integrity consistency and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards reports and visualization tools to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and execution of A/B tests and experiments to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
- Provide adhoc analysis and support to crossfunctional teams to address business questions and challenges.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers developers testers and marketers to ensure alignment of data insights with product development and marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in eCommerce and data analytics and share knowledge and expertise with the team.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors or (preferably) masters degree in business Analytics Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business/Data Analyst in an eCommerce environment preferably within a startup scaleup or SMB setting.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g. SQL Python R Excel Power BI Tableau).
- Solid understanding of eCommerce concepts and principles with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. Experience with agile methodologies and tools particularly JIRA and Confluence is a plus
- Regular presence (3 days per week) in the Antwerp (Belgium) office is a prerequisite.
