Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and businessoriented Senior Financial Analyst with significant handson experience in developing financial models and business cases to support IT initiatives projects and investments. The successful candidate will define and analyze costs and benefits for a wide range of IT and capital project initiatives ranging from infrastructure to software/systems development to outsourcing. This role is essential to our clients financial team as it involves managing a complex portfolio and interacting with senior leadership.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $55 to $64 based on experience.
5month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Hybrid work: Thursdays in the office.

Responsibilities:

Perform customized financial analysis for large initiatives such as outsourcing.
Guide and add value in the development of business cases and costbenefit analyses.
Review analyze critique and develop business cases incorporating financial modeling with a businessoriented presentation of the problem impact justification alternatives and benefits.
Provide financial reports related to the above work.
Conduct monthly reporting on expenses.
Perform root cause analysis on variances.
Lead meetings to present monthly results to AVP and VPs.
Handle forecasting and develop the 2025 plan and budget.

What you will need to succeed:

Undergraduate degree in business or finance.
Accounting designation or equivalent work experience.
5 years of experience in finance/accounting specifically in analyzing IT and capital projects.
35 years of relevant experience.
Financial services experience preferred.
Good understanding of business drivers for IT investments and the ability to tailor to specific situations incorporating these into Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs) including commodity and income tax impacts.
Proficient in providing financial assessment understanding and predicting results.
Knowledgeable in financial risk identification and mitigation.
Strong interpersonal communication motivational organizational and planning skills.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Thorough knowledge and experience in using Excel including macros.
Knowledge of contracts for IT products and services.
Ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
Experience with Hyperion Tableau and advanced Excel.
Ability to analyze financial metrics driving expenses and present findings succinctly to leadership.
