We re SchoolGrid a multiaward winning cashless catering management and online payment software for schools across the UK.
Our Head Office is based in Livingston with a regional office in West Yorkshire. As a friendly and supportive team we pride ourselves on maintaining an excellent track record of customer satisfaction and we provide our staff with the time and support they need to succeed.

We re currently looking for an excellent customer care and operations assistant to join our aftercare team.

Overall your role is to make sure our clients schools and parents get the very best experience working with SchoolGrid. No two days will be the same (which we think keeps it interesting!) and you ll get the opportunity to work with a number of teams and stakeholders including the service product and project teams as well as working with the COO on internal projects.
Heres where youll make an impact:
Customer Experience Champion: Handle a variety of inbound and outbound enquiries from schools and parents both on the phone and via email.
Project Administration: Assisting the project/mobilisation team to ensure smooth rollouts and successful golive launches for new clients.
Knowledge Sharer: Work alongside the product team to guarantee a seamless user experience for new features by assisting with client training and documentation.
Financial Finesse: Assist with financial administration tasks including both sales and purchase ledgers (Full training provided)
Growth Catalyst: Working directly with the COO on internal projects and adhoc duties to propel departmental and company growth.Schedule:
We re looking for a fantastic people person with a passion for building connections with people have excellent communication skills (both phone and email) and overall a genuine enthusiasm for providing the best service possible.
You might have experience in retail customer service or something similar but for us your drive matters more. Youre a quick learner with a cando attitude eager to develop a diverse skillset for your future.
We value a cando attitude and a willingness to learn more than specific experience. If you have a background in retail customer service or similar roles thats fantastic but its not essential. Were looking for someone eager to develop a diverse skillset for their future and you ll have opportunities to work in customer care finance project management product team and operations. We believe your career is yours to build and were here to provide the stepping stones.
Finally you re able to commute to our Livingston HQ on a daily basis although we re happy to discuss hybrid working following your success onboarding period.
