Job description
- The Systems Engineer II provides engineering and technical support during development and review of architectures specifications and standards for NAVWAR programs in the RDT&E phase of acquisition.
Essential Job Functions:
- May be required to act as a lead systems analyst.
- Reviews acquisition engineering documentation for programs in RT&E.
- Provides input Human Systems Integration requirements and plans.
- Assists in development and update of Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) determinations in support of program milestone requirements.
Required Skills:
- Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements U.S. Citizenship is required.
- BS in an engineering discipline and a minimum of 3 years of systems engineering experience.
- An active Secret clearance is required.
- Professional technical experience should include one or more of the following: architecture development application of Defense in Depth Information Assurance concept Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools the NAVWAR Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) system documentation.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
