Credit Controller

We have an amazing new opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to work for an exceptional organisation based in Peterborough

As the successful Credit Controller you will be working withi a dedicated and friendly finance team tasked with ensuring all invoices are paid on time whilst maintaining positive relations with clients.

You will:

• Manage the credit control function within the company ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Conduct regular followups with customers to secure payments and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Review and analyze overdue accounts establish payment arrangements and escalate unresolved cases as needed.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and resolve billing issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
• Prepare reports on the credit status of customers and present findings to management.

Who we are looking for:

• Previous experience in credit control
• Solid understanding of credit control procedures and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in a fastpaced finance environment.
• Familiarity with debt collection regulations and practices.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in analyzing financial data and generating reports.
