Tasks
- Manage all aspects of People operations ensuring adherence to local labour regulations and company standards
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency with the monthly payroll cycle
- Serve as the primary liaison for external stakeholders including labour attorneys payroll providers benefits administrators and tax agencies
- Act as the primary contact for the companys Works Council
- Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives in alignment with headquarters and overall business objectives
- Provide strategic support to managers and employees on HRrelated matters
- Promote employee growth performance management and succession planning
- Address employee relations issues leading investigations and conflict resolution
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and foster a positive workplace
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent
Requirements
- Solid background managing the entire employee lifecycle preferably in a dynamic international setting
- Demonstrated expertise in handling the monthly payroll operations
- Proven experience working with the Spanish Works Council and labour law
- Proficient in relocation issues including visa processes and tax ruling applications
- Highly knowledgeable HR professional with a practical and involved approach
- Strategic thinker and adept problem solver proactive in tackling HRrelated issues
- Energetic collaborative and tenacious individual who proactively seeks opportunities for improvement
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities capable of fostering relationships at all organizational levels
- Open to travelling if required
