About the Role:

The Project Manager will work with the LCD IT leadership team to enable standard project management practices and processes to further mature the LCD IT Portfolio Management function. The candidate may also be asked to deliver project management deliverables for key LCD IT projects during the engagement.

Position Summary:

The ideal Project Manager candidate will define problems get buyin from stakeholders maintain communication with stakeholders solicit understand and prioritize business requirements from multiple stakeholders and create business requirements to convert them into system requirements. This role involves interpreting business requirements simplifying them for analysis and solution design communicating the urgency value benefit and risk of proposed solutions supporting large programs driving projects to completion providing thought leadership developing business cases leading and influencing teams monitoring and reporting project progress managing the backlog for agile delivery mediating between delivery teams and business owners solving team conflicts and motivating crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Enable standard project management practices and processes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Define problems get buyin and maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Requirements Management: Solicit understand and prioritize business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Solution Design: Create and simplify business requirements for easy analysis and solution design.
• Risk Management: Positively impact/solve major risks/issues and communicate the proposed solutions urgency value benefit and risk.
• Project Delivery: Support large programs and deliver smaller projects independently driving them to completion within agreed scope while maintaining the business vision.
• Innovation: Provide thought leadership and innovation in the function driving transformation using business technology.
• Business Cases: In collaboration with the business develop business cases to deliver the required business outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Lead and influence teams to ensure projects are delivered ontime within budget and goals are fulfilled.
• Project Monitoring: Monitor and report project progress budget compare actual performance against planned/scheduled performance and manage risks/issues.
• Agile Delivery: Manage the backlog for agile delivery including planning sprints and reporting.
• Team Mediation: Act as a mediator between the delivery team and business owners coaching team members and solving team conflicts.
• Team Motivation: Motivate the crossfunctional team.

Key Skills:

• Certifications: PMI and Agile certifications (e.g. PMIACP CSM) highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelors degree.
• Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.
