Orange County Veterinary Specialists is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our highly respected 24hour emergency and specialty practice in Tustin California.
We have been serving the Orange County community for more than 10 years! We are primarily a critical care and internal medicinefocused practice located in a collaborative campus of other specialties including but not limited to: oncology neurology radiation oncology dermatology dentistry and ophthalmology.
Our twostory 7500sq.ft. facility was recently remodeled and features all the imaginable bells and whistles. Amenities include six exam rooms two surgical suites and a large treatment room. Available equipment includes anesthetic and mechanical ventilators diagnostic and portable ultrasounds oxygen cages and endoscopy towers (flexible and rigid video scopes as well as laparoscopy and arthroscopy). In addition the practice uses both digital radiograph and has a fluoroscopy (portable Carm).
Laboratory equipment includes inhouse CBC inhouse chemistry Nova (electrolytes and blood gas) and colloid osmometer. Intensive care monitoring capabilities include recently upgraded pulse oximetry with Capnography (EMMA portable capnographs and stand alone capnography) direct and indirect blood pressure monitoring CVP monitoring intraabdominal pressure monitoring and wireless continuous telemetry. Advanced imaging (CT MRI and scintigraphy) is also available next door.
The hospital fosters a relaxed and collegial atmosphere with a large support staff of 50 employees. Of 22 highly skilled veterinary technicians 13 are registered veterinary technicians and 3 are boarded in emergency and critical care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License

Compensation is negotiable based on education experience and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $64000 to $240000.
DVM or VMD Internship Trained 1+ years ER experience working after internship
