FIELD ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope

The Field Engineer will primarily be responsible for providing technical support installation maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and uptodate records of field activities including service reports maintenance records and customer interactions.
  
• Install configure and test company equipment and systems at client sites.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers.
  
• Provide training and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  
• Prepare and submit weekly reports on field activities and customer interactions.
  
• Stay uptodate with industry developments and new technologies.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve product development and customer satisfaction.
  
• Ensure a safe working environment adhering to company safety policies and procedures and reporting any safety concerns or incidents.
  
• Manage inventory of parts and tools ensuring adequate stock levels and optimizing usage.
  
• Adhere to relevant industry regulations company policies and customer requirements.
  
• Estimate costs approve project designs and prepare contracts.
  
  

Requirements

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Computer Science) or any related field of study.
  
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role or its equivalent.
  
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  
• Good decisionmaking skills.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suites specifically Microsoft Excel.
