Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and resultsoriented Head of Production to lead our client s fabrication team. In this critical role you will oversee all aspects of the production process from initial concept to final execution. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely highquality and costeffective fabrication of all event elements while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. This position requires a unique blend of fabrication expertise and strong corporate experience allowing you to bridge the gap between creativity and production realities.

Responsibilities:

• Production Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the production team ensuring all projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  
• Fabrication Management: Oversee all aspects of the fabrication process including design review material selection vendor sourcing production planning quality control and safety compliance.
  
• Project Management: Work closely with project managers and designers to ensure clear communication and alignment between design intent and fabrication feasibility.
  
• Inventory Management: Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
  
• Budget Management: Develop and manage production budgets ensuring all expenditures are within approved limits. Identify and implement costsaving measures.
  
• Team Management: Lead motivate and develop the production team members fostering a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and safety.
  
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing timely deliveries and highquality materials.
  
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  
• Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by adhering to all safety regulations and implementing best practices.
  
• Technology Integration: Evaluate and utilize relevant technologies to streamline production processes and enhance communication.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a production management role within the Events or Exhibitions industry with a strong focus on fabrication.
  
• Proven track record of successfully managing large and complex projects on time and within budget.
  
• Indepth knowledge of fabrication techniques materials and industry best practices.
  
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
  
• Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and think strategically.
  
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project) and relevant design/fabrication software (e.g. AutoCAD).
  
• Experience working in a corporate environment and understanding corporate structures.
  
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
