JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A NETWORK SECURITY SPECIALIST
We are seeking an IT Network Specialist to manage our IT Infrastructure to ISO27001 and best practice compliance levels. We will invest in your training. Very good clear English communication skills are required.
You need to hold a bachelor s degree in cyber/network security or a related field. We will consider exceptionally motivated and quicktolearn graduates with related work experience and the right attitude.
Boomering is a BPO company in Clark Pampanga and are managed to Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the network and security architecture of the organization.
Analyze and implement new security protocols to improve performance against threats or malfunctions.
Resolve existing security issues including hardware malfunctions.
Lead network security design for cloud solutions including automation to support cloud expansion and network segmentation strategy.
Monitor network security products and protocols and report on findings.
Guide and mentor other members of the IT team.
Implement firewall rules in our network firewalls.
Qualifications/Requirements:
2 to 3 years of experience designing implementing and maintaining firewall solutions
Familiarity with ISO27001 and other Data Security requirements
Experience with networking technologies (routing switching VLANs subnets etc.)
Experience implementing and managing Active Directory
Advanced knowledge of information security concepts trends and practices
Advanced understanding of networking (subnetting routing and switching)
Experience with firewalls intrusion detection systems antivirus software authentication systems content filtering and log management
Strong communication skills and ability to express technical concepts in clear and simple terms Organized work approach to minimize reconciliation time and avoid rework
Understands tasks given and questions when doesn t understand
Uses common sense and initiative extensively
Good planning and communication skills to ensure tasks are prioritized and delivered on time

o Mikrotik Certified Security Engineer
o Cisco Certified Network Associate
o Cisco Certified Network Professional
o Cisco Certified Security Professional
