Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse of Women Services!
We are seeking a fulltime Registered Nurse to join a busy Womens Services Department. This role involves working predominantly 13hour shifts three shifts per week and includes primary responsibilities such as:
- Accurate Documentation: Recording all pertinent data on patients medical records accurately clearly and concisely.
- Patient Care: Performing technical aspects of patient care according to established policies and procedures.
- Patient Safety: Ensuring the safety and privacy of patients at all times.
- Fetal Monitoring: Demonstrating accurate interpretation and documentation of fetal monitor tracing.
- Clinical Skills: Safely and successfully placing fetal scalp electrodes when identified and appropriate.
- Surgical Preparation: Demonstrating skills needed to safely and efficiently prepare patients for Csection.
- Postpartum Care: Understanding physician orders for postpartum patients.
- Adaptability: Identifying changing patient needs and altering nursing care appropriately.
- Anesthesia Protocol: Verbalizing and demonstrating understanding of epidural anesthesia protocol.
- Delivery Assistance: Effectively assisting during vaginal delivery including vacuum or forceps delivery.
- Newborn Care: Assisting appropriately with newborn care at delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Womens Services or related field preferred.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Ability to work 13hour shifts three shifts per week.
