Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Coordination and Management:
- Lead the coordination of BIM models across multiple disciplines for fitout projects ensuring that models meet LOD 400 and LOD 500 standards.
- Oversee the integration of architectural structural and MEP (mechanical electrical plumbing) elements into the BIM models.
- Manage and update BIM models to reflect changes and ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings with architects engineers and other project stakeholders to address and resolve BIMrelated issues.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between various disciplines to maintain model integrity and resolve clashes.
- Implement clash detection and coordinate the resolution of conflicts between different disciplines in the BIM model.
- Documentation and Quality Control:
- Review and approve BIMrelated documentation including construction and shop drawings to ensure they are accurate and comply with project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on BIM models and related documentation to ensure they adhere to project standards and industry best practices.
- Project Support and Reporting:
- Provide BIM support to project teams including generating reports visualizations and 3D views for presentations and project reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of project deliverables using BIM models ensuring they are consistent with design intent and project requirements.
- Track and report on BIMrelated project progress issues and changes to project managers and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated with advancements in BIM technologies tools and industry trends to drive process improvements.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to BIM workflows and standards to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
- Develop and deliver training sessions or materials on BIM processes and best practices for project teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar role with a focus on fitout projects. Proven experience managing models at LOD 400 and LOD 500 stages.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BIM software including Autodesk Revit Navisworks and other relevant tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of BIM standards protocols and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and the ability to interpret and develop detailed shop drawings.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership communication and collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail with the capability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
