Overview:
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Our client is a company operating a marketplace for consumers sellers and content creators. It offers merchandise and content purchased for resale from vendors and those offered by thirdparty sellers.
Job Title: Data Engineer V
Location: New York NY 10018
Duration: 5 Months

Job Description:
Responsibilities
- As a Data Engineer you will be working in one of the worlds largest and most complex data warehouse environments.
- You will be developing and supporting the Data warehouse that give our customers timely flexible and structured access to their data.
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing a data storage & reporting platform using AWS Cloud and inhouse engineering tools modelling metadata building reports and dashboards in Quick sight.
- You will work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 years of related experience in Data Engineering (Data Warehouse Data Lake ETL etc).
- 3 years of experience with AWS Cloud development (Redshift S3 VPCs/Subnets Glue EMR etc)
- Very Strong development experience with SQL Spark Python and a reporting tools (such as Quicksight).
- Should have experience developing complex data pipelines and a variety of reports & dashboards.
- A good candidate has strong analytical skills and enjoys working with large complex data sets.
- A good candidate can partner with business owners directly to understand their requirements and provide data which can help them observe patterns and spot anomalies.
Must have skills:
- SQL Spark Redshift ETL Data Warehouse Data Lake Quick sight Reporting
- Python Shell scripting
- AWS Cloud development
Good to have:
- Excel macros SPSS

Years of experience:
- 7 years of experience
- 3 years of AWS experience
Degrees or Cert REQUIRED:
- BA or MA
Good to have:
- EXCEL/MACROS
