Onshore Permit and Consent Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Onshore Permit and ConsentManager to join the Corios rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon sustainable global economy.

Corio was developed under the Green Investment Group and remains a subsidiary of Macquarie Group (Australias largest investment bank) so we have strong financial support to drive the business forward.

You will report into the Busan Portfolio Representative in the Busan project and the Korea Regional Consents and Stakeholder Manager who is responsible for development activities in South Korea

Key responsibilities:

Manage the development process for the onshore aspects of the Busan portfolio including identifying key risks to project delivery and managing budget and funding to minimize potential losses due to delays or failure to secure projects.

Oversee the government policy and regulation related to the project development

Identify development permits or consents required prior to construction and associated works to secure them

Identify Manage and liaise with service providers / consultancy firms to carry out the necessary surveys for the permit

Review the permit document in accordance with the relevant law and regulation and give instructions to the contractors when necessary

Interface with engineers and designers for design study and optimization to achieve optimum schedule

Communicate with the local authorities to obtain the permit and support the regulatory affairs required for the permit

Review and/or coordinate new contracts or internal business proposals for the required permits following the internal process

Respond to potential investors and financiers commercial and technical due diligence and requirement during the project financing stage.

Coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Visit project sites to manage project risks where required

Your key qualifications include:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management Finance etc.

Minimum 8 years in a project development project engineering project control in Wind industry

Language : Korean English (considered favorably)

Work Location : Busan/Seoul (Frequent travel to Busan/Sejong)
