Network Engineer

Job Summary:

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable network solutions ensuring the stability and efficiency of our network infrastructure. This role requires strong technical skills problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to network optimization and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and maintain network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
• Perform network capacity planning and ensure network scalability and performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Implement network security measures to protect data systems and networks from unauthorized access and breaches.
• Monitor network performance and analyze network traffic to optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support networkrelated projects and initiatives.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure and related systems.
• Document network configurations processes and procedures.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in network engineering and cybersecurity.
• Participate in oncall rotation and respond to network emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP) preferred.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs OSPF BGP).
• Experience with network hardware and equipment from vendors such as Cisco Juniper Palo Alto etc.
• Knowledge of network security practices and solutions (e.g. firewalls VPNs IDS/IPS).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
