CT Technologist

• Pay range is $6872.80 per hour
  
• Hours are MF
  
• ASAP Start
  
• Temporary contract for 12weeks
  
• Travel package also available at $3100 per week on 40hours.
  

• American Heart BLS (no online certs accepted)
  
• Minimum of three years experience is required
  
• Pediatric experience is required
  
• EPIC experience is required
  
• Siemens experience is required
  
• ARRT required
  

• Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations
  
• conducts a variety of CT procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies cardiac CT CT angiograms and postprocessing.
  
• Produce CT scans for diagnostic interpretation.
  
• Operate CT and select technical factors.
  
• Responsible for proper identification on images including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.
  
• Document all related data.
  
• Provide radiation protection for patients families and staff the general public and self.
  
• Identify process and archive patient exams including exam records images and patient demographics.
  
• Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
  
• Resolve and escalate complex issues.
  
• Orient and train fellow staff technologists.
  
• Subject to oncall status including weekends and holidays.
  

Requirements

• AHA BLS
  
• basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging.
  
• Basic knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
  
• Basic knowledge of radiology information systems.
  
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word Excel PowerPoint.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
  
• Excellent time management skills.
  
• Excellent organizational skills.
