Were excited to share a new Project Manager (Wastewater) on behalf of our client!

This role is open in Evansville IN Fort Wayne IN Greenfield IN

This companys services include the construction of highways/bridges industrial facilities/factories data centers marine solar advanced industrial pipeline and water/wastewater facilities along with asphalt/concrete pavement and underground utilities.

Summary:

  • Provide overall management direction for a large complex heavy civil or industrial project or two or more smaller projects.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the overall project team in a positive teamdriven results oriented manner.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities
  • Establish project objectives policies procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy
  • Plan organize and manage office staff and field supervision.
  • Own manage and update the project schedule.
  • Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of onsite Superintendent(s) to ensure project is built safely on schedule and within budget.
  • Represent company in Owner progress meetings.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts and responsible for project profit or loss.
  • Lead project team in daily field coordination meeting weekly block schedule meeting and monthly safety kickoff meeting.
  • Mentor and assist with career development of other team members.
  • Coordinate with back office Central Engineering Group team to provide support as needed for the onsite project team.
  • Actively search for continuous improvements in project planning processes and execution.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.


Education and Experience:

  • Possess a 4year Bachelors degree in engineering or construction management.
  • 10 years experience/knowledge of construction design finance and management in a selfperforming general contractor role required.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to understand and interpret safety laws company policies/standards and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawing and documents.
  • Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices processes standards etc. and their impact on project activities.
  • Must possess superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business oriented person
  • Ability to build trust and achieve results through and with others.
  • Takes ownership of all operations and activities on the project.
  • Advanced computer skills with the ability to learn and utilize new/different project management software as dictated by the client.
