Job Title: Electrical Engineer Civil Company: PILLARS Location: Kampala Central Region Uganda Contract Details: Fulltime PILLARS a leading construction company in Kampala Uganda is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Civil to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer Civil you will play a crucial role in the planning design and execution of various construction projects in the Central Region of Uganda. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for construction projects including power distribution lighting and communication systems Conduct site visits to assess electrical needs and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards Prepare and review technical drawings specifications and cost estimates for electrical systems Collaborate with project managers architects and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project design Oversee installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems ensuring quality and timely completion Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during construction Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency Keep uptodate with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering technology Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians on the team Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably in the construction industry Strong knowledge of electrical design software and building codes Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design tools Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities If you are a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer Civil looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity we encourage you to apply for this position.
