Application Support Engineer Responsibilities:

• Providing software application support under the supervision of the Senior Engineer.
• Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
• Ensuring effective frontend and backend functionality of applications.
• Consulting with the software development team internal users and clients to improve application performance.
• Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer.
• Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
• Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
• Providing frontend support to clients and colleagues in other departments.

Application Support Engineer Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in software engineering computer science information technology information systems computer engineering or similar.
• Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer in a related field.
• Basic knowledge of frontend and backend programming languages such as C Javascript Python and Ruby.
• Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
• Ability to keep up with innovation in application design.
• Exceptional communication skills

3. Supported multiscale applications within a large organisation
4. Hands on experience in implementing developing operating and/or supporting Digital Channels and Enterprise Applications
