Client Care Representative Personal Lines

Primary Job Duties

The primary duties of this position are to collect and analyze information regarding the client’s assets risk exposures and consumer reports; determining which insurance products best meet the client’s needs and financial circumstances; analyzing and advising the client regarding the advantages and disadvantage of different insurance products; and marketing servicing or promoting the insurance products of the companies that the firm represents. The position requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.

• Prepare and present professional insurance proposals including coverage analysis
• Create insurance applicat ons and bind/issue coverage
• Offer addit onal products to clients and ask for referrals
• Facilitate service requests following all agency procedures
• Invest gate and analyze act ons taken on clients by underwrit ng and provide solut ons
• Meet and exceed monthly act vity goals
• Special retent on and prof tability projects as assigned

The individual must have at least a high school degree and either has or will obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license within ninety (90) days of employment. The candidate must have 3 years of experience with an independent insurance agency located in Michigan. A bachelor’s degree in business liberal arts or a related field is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful achievements expert knowledge of personal line insurance products and professional persuasion skills.
