BAS Controls Project Manager

Job Summary

The BAS Sales Project Manager will manage BAS projects and play an integral role in the growth of the controls department. This position will report to the Director of Building Automation Systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to support department and company goals including financials
• Escalate issues on projects in a timely manner
• Sell and estimate BAS construction jobs and change orders
• Manage the needed materials and manpower to support assigned BAS projects
• Estimate costs (materials equipment and labor) of assigned BAS projects
• Coordinate with other divisions within the organization and the scheduling of work
• Assist in sales calls to prospective clients as required
• Effectively manage projects from conceptualization to completion
• Facilitate and attend BAS project meetings as required
• Actively participate in careerrelated organizations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in BAS experience
• Ideal candidate will have experience with Automated Logic Controls Tridium Niagara and Distech Controls
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly
• Indepth understanding and handson experience with any or all of the following systems: HVAC electrical building automation/controls boilers air conditioning and/or chillers
• 3 to 5 years of experience in energy management building commissioning and/or systems diagnostics/troubleshooting
