About the Role

As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate fire protection strategies into project designs, offering expert guidance on all aspects of wet and dry fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the design and documentation of building fire protection systems.
Perform design calculations, undertake design reviews, and provide documentation for complete fire protection system installations.
Promote and role model interdisciplinary collaboration.
Offer advice and support to assist the team manage workflow, workload and project inquiries.
Ensure accurate interpretation and alignment with client briefs throughout the engineering process.
Manage end-to-end project delivery, capturing any changes to project scope.
Support the lead to actively promote our capabilities.
Attract new clients into the firm and identify opportunities with existing clients.

What you will need to succeed

6 years of extensive experience in project leadership and fire protection design within the Australian Building Services Sector.
Excellent understanding of Australian Building Codes.
Exceptional rapport-building and negotiation abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively engaging all stakeholders.
Open, supportive, and approachable for team mentoring and advice, with excellent coordination across design disciplines.
