Registrar Paediatric

The Position:
We are seeking Paediatric Registrars to join this dynamic Paediatric Department, working in a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing suburbs of Melbourne. An opportunity to join an innovative supportive and growing Paediatric unit!! The paediatric unit is currently expanding with growth in outpatient/inpatient services and has a well-established busy SCN service.

6-month, 12 month and combination positions available Fixed Term full time / Part time / Job share.............

The role will include:

• Paediatric, SCN, Emergency and Outpatient exposure
• Excellent supportive environment
• Outstanding teaching program including simulation- 5 hours phone free each Wednesday

The Hospital:
This is a General Public Hospital that services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening of it s new intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and the opening of two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.

Skills & Qualifications required:

• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Paediatric and neonatal experience (minimum 6 months experience in dedicated NICU)
• Excellent communication skills
• Interest in being part of a team
• Enthusiasm to learn
