Supply Chain and Logistics Assistant


About Our Client: They are a growing ecommerce company specializing in a full assortment of highquality trash bags. Their team is dedicated hardworking and driven by a passion for excellence.

Position Overview: We are seeking a candidate to join our client's team as a Supply Chain and Logistics Associate. The primary focus of this role will be to manage demand planning including purchasing and transferring inventory between warehouses. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated detailoriented and have a strong background in demand planning. Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel excellent communication skills and the ability to make independent decisions are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and organize data for Google Sheets to ensure accurate and uptodate information for decisionmaking.
  • Review and analyze demand planning suggestions and exceptions generated by automated Google Sheets formulas.
  • Make informed decisions on inventory purchasing and transfer orders based on data analysis.
  • Maintain and enhance complex formulas and conditional formatting in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Communicate effectively with factories regarding orders and order exceptions.
  • Coordinate with warehouses on purchase order receipts and inventory discrepancies.
  • Drive inventory efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assess and handle overstocked inventory to optimize warehouse space and minimize holding costs.
  • Assist in general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience with inventory management and demand planning.
  • Must have experience with NetSuite.
  • High proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel including the ability to read/write complex formulas and understand conditional formatting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Fully fluent in English with clear and effective communication abilities.
  • Strong independent decisionmaking skills and accountability for actions taken.
  • Familiarity with ShipStation and Amazon Vendor Central is a plus.
