Job Description: Software Engineering Architect

About the role

This opportunity is for Principal Digital Architect who will be responsible for architecting and modernizing our customerfacing and distribution partners digital products on mobile web and 3rd party ecosystem. We are embarking on a mission to reshape the fundamental experiences and delight our customers through compelling products and services to increase customer life time value.

As Principal Software Architect you will:

Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and nonfunctional requirements for new software or applications

Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product

Develop highlevel product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility

Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards

Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team

Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design

Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers

Ensure software meets all requirements of quality security modifiability extensibility etc. Team Management Responsibilities

Communicate status of architecture solutions and reports up the management chain

Provide consistent team goals objectives

Requirements:

Our skills and experience wish list include:

Prior experience managing software engineering teams in an agile environment and an externalfacing product company

Experience in deploying Modern Server Frameworks such as Node or Spring Boot Java

Expertise in Modern Web UI Frameworks such as Angular or React

Experience in CloudNative Development such as in AWS Azure or Google

Expertise in Microservices design and architecture

Knowledge of REST APIs established best practices

Knowledge of Design Principles and Patterns

Practical experience with unit testing

Strong experience with Agile and at least one agile methodology Scale Scrum

Good experience in in architecting cloud agnostic platforms

Excellent knowledge cloud platforms like Azure AWS GCP

Excellent knowledge in databases like MySQL Postgres MongoDB Cassandra

Experience in building platforms rather than building point solutions

Basic qualifications

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

15 years of experience within software engineering and 5 years of experience in Software Architecture with building omnichannel microservices based architecture

Prior experience in building enterprise scale Web & Mobile Applications.

5 years in software engineering leadership in mobilefirst directtocustomer digital native organizations

Prior experience in working with an Agile Tool enabled team (CI/CD/Automated Tests etc)

Experience in building generalized
