Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with inquiries product selections and purchases.
• Work primarily in the deli section preparing sandwiches rolls and other food items.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for shoppers in the deli area.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing deli counter and surrounding area.
• Contribute to creating attractive displays to showcase deli products.
• Help with receiving deliveries and restocking deli merchandise.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels of deli items.
• Operate the cash register accurately for deli sales transactions.
• Handle cash and provide correct change to deli customers.
• Ensure the deli area is clean sanitized and wellmaintained at all times.
• Monitor and replenish deli supplies such as packaging materials and utensils.
• Work collaboratively with other shop and store staff to ensure smooth deli operations.
• Embrace training opportunities for continuous improvement in deli operations.
• Adapt to changes in deli offerings and promotions.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the delis appeal and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service in a food retail setting.
• Experience working in food preparation including making sandwiches rolls etc.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fastpaced deli environment.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work effectively within a team.
• Understanding of basic retail operations and cashiering.
• Availability for both weekdays and weekends based on the delis schedule.

Job Types: Fulltime Parttime

Pay: 12.70 per hour

• Day shift
• Flexitime
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
