Head of controls and sensor technology all genders

For our client a successful manufacturing and research company in the field of hydraulics we are currently looking for a Head of control and sensor Technology Development (all genders) in NorthRhine Westphalia. As a department leader you should be willing to travel frequently to China and manage a team of 57 employees.

Tasks

• Manage a team of 57 employees (temporary workers students project engineers)
• Responsible for developing new innovative technological systems and projects
• Approve budgets
• Planing of test trials simulations and calculations
• Travel to China a few times per year (sometimes 46 weeks per project)
• Lead project operations and conduct cost calculations

Requirements

• Experience in project management and cost and budget calculation
• PhD (in control and regulation technology fluid technology or similar)
• Fluent English skills in speech and writing for internal and external communication
• Good German language skills are nice to have but not mandatory
• Initial leadership experience
• Broad basic knowledge in hydraulics/pneumatics or automation technology
• Technical experience in measurement control and regulation technology
