Job Title: Supervisor II Laboratory (Lab)

Job Description;

• Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
• Supervise lab staff including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Implement and maintain laboratory policies and procedures.
• Monitor lab performance including quality control test accuracy and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Assist in budget preparation and management for the laboratory.
• Stay updated with advancements in laboratory techniques and technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations including CLIA CAP and OSHA standards.
• Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Proficiency in laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
