Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure.
• Administer and support VMware vSphere ESXi environments.
• Perform regular patching updating and troubleshooting of VMware ESXi and vCenter vSphere Suite.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Provide highlevel technical support and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Engage closely with clients to drive resolution of longrunning/high priority cases.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction within defined SLAs.
• Minimize downtime in production environments.
• Act as a technical point of contact for prospective customers.
• Communicate customer technical requirements to VMware product and engineering teams.

Qualification

• 6 years of technical support experience in virtualization product environments.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of infrastructure products (physical & virtual servers).
• Proficient in VMware vSphere ESXi.
• Proficient in Linux/Windows (must be proficient in at least one).
• Certification in Install Configure and Manage vSphere 7.0.
• Professional level certification from VMware in Network Virtualization VSAN End User Computing Data Center Virtualization etc.
• Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
• Experience in VMware ESXi vCenter vSphere Suite Management patching and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work rotational shifts including 24/7 support.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in automation/scripting.
• Experience in customer advocacy and liaising with product and engineering teams.
• Strong customer engagement skills to drive successful closure of issues with minimal MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).
