About Company: Our client is a nonprofit organization currently on a transformation project in the SouthWest Nigeria.
Job Objective: Our client is seeking to hire a dedicated and experienced Finance Officer to join our team on a project to host a series of critical conversations with faith culture and influential leaders for attitudinal change in Lagos and Ogun State SouthWest Nigeria.
S/he will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our nonprofit programmes. This includes budgeting financial reporting auditing compliance and financial planning. S/he will work closely with the programmes team managing relationships with donors grantors and other financial partners.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage all financial operations of our nonprofit project.
Develop and implement financial strategies.
Prepare and present financial reports.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage relationships with donors grantors and other financial partners.
Oversee budgeting and financial planning.
Conduct audits and identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with the executive team to make financial decisions.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
B.Sc degree in Accounting Finance or any related field.
3 years of experience in financial management role preferably in a nonprofit organization.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
Excellent team management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to nonfinance persons.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
