Overview of the Position
In this role you will be responsible for supporting our technology development team by providing customer services and technical support for our hosting clients.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Support

• Customer service and salesoriented.
• Primary contact person for all website hosting clients.
• Perform updates and troubleshooting on website issues as needed.
  • Client requested content updates
  • DNS record updates
  • Configuring website hosting accounts
  • Website hosting migrations
  • Basic CSS and child theme modifications
  • Basic graphic design and photo editing
  • Gaining access to domain registration accounts
  • Plugin installation and configuration
  • Assisting clients with adding Google Analytics scripts to WordPress
  • Determining the best approach to helping clients with Google Search Console Issues
• Development request task quoting triage and management.
• Design request task quoting triage and management.

Website Care Audit

• Website ADA compliance checks
• Speed optimization audits
• Website content audits
• Online reputation audits
• Outreach to client with audit summary and recommendations

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in customer service and clientfacing technical support roles.
• Proficiency in WordPress specifically WordPress Multisite (12 years experience required).
• Familiarity with cPanel WHM and DNS management.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Figma for web design tasks.
• Skills in CSS PHP HTML and experience with Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress.
• Experience with project management systems (e.g. Zoho Asana Monday).
• Exposure to various website server environments and ability to adapt to 3rd party tools as needed.
• Understanding of website design principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of fundamental design techniques tools and principles involved in creating a website and a solid understanding of principles and methods for showing promoting and upselling additional services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with a proactive approach to gathering information and ensuring clarity in project goals.
