Role: Corticon Developer

Location: Madison WI 100% remote

Duration: 1 year

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of handson experience with Progress Corticon.
• Proficient in Progress Corticon rule modeling and deployment.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with Java and/or .NET frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong problemsolving skills with an ability to analyze and interpret business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively organize prioritize and manage tasks.
• Selfmotivation and adaptability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and system design.
• Versatility in programming languages and familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex business rule applications using Progress Corticon.
• Seamlessly integrate business rules solutions with existing enterprise applications and data sources.
• Work closely with systems architects and developers to ensure full system integration.
• Meet regularly with the project team for standups approvals and design updates.
• Conduct thorough testing of business rules to ensure compliance with specifications and performance expectations.
• Manage the deployment of Corticon solutions across various environments.
• Create detailed documentation for rule models including technical specifications and user manuals.
• Provide expert problemsolving and troubleshooting support for rule engine issues.
• Recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and provide ongoing support to meet changing business needs.
