Subject Matter Expert in Enterprise Risk Management

Minimum Experience:

• At least ten (10) years of experience in establishing implementing and/or advising senior executives on enterprise risk management practices is preferred.

Functional Responsibility:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise risk management initiatives and process improvements.
• Assist the government lead with updates to the enterprise risk register. Assess and facilitate enterprise risk discussions as needed. Assist clients in understanding and identifying risk appetite priorities thresholds responses and key risk indicators. Perform program audits cost benefit and risk analysis studies as needed.

Minimum Education:

• A relevant Masters Degree (Risk Management Business Management or related field). Twelve (12) years of applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

Additional Knowledge/Experience/Competency Areas of Importance:

• Ten (10) or more years of handson expert level experience planning executing and/or advising senior executives on enterprise risk management practices is preferred.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel).
• Experience working in a collaborative environment.
• Strong oral and writing skills including the ability to translate different information types to diverse audience types and develop executive level presentations and experience interacting with and presenting to senior leaders/stakeholders within an organization.
• Strong management analysis problem solving analytical forward thinking organizational visualization and interpersonal skills.
• Strong skills in the following key areas: strategic thinking multitasking negotiation conflict management time management planning and executing to a defined schedule/budget.
