Overview

As a Telesales Representative in the financial services industry you will play a crucial role in driving revenue by identifying and converting sales opportunities through outbound calling. Your ability to effectively communicate the value of financial services build rapport with potential customers and close sales will be essential to the success of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of financial products and services and the ability to navigate potential customers through the sales process over the phone.

Key responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote financial services and products
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through effective questioning and active listening
  • Explain the features and benefits of financial products to potential customers
  • Handle objections and effectively negotiate to close sales
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the organization
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Follow up with prospective customers who expressed interest but did not make an immediate purchase
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends financial products and services
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and contribute to overall team success

Required qualifications

  • Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales role
  • Strong knowledge of financial products such as loans credit cards and investment options
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers over the phone
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and objectionhandling skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales process management
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced targetdriven environment
  • Highly motivated and resultsoriented
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Finance Marketing or related field is preferred
  • Professional certification in sales or financial services is a plus
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to financial sales
  • Ability to adapt to changes and embrace continuous learning
  • Team player with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
